Saw Trim Collection Systems

EnviroAir furnishes saw trim collection systems to collect saw trim cookies from log saws. These cookies are collected in a specially designed hopper at the log saw and are transported pneumatically to a trim separator where the trim is separated from the transport air. The trim drops out of the separator into a Customer furnished pulper, conveyor or baler.

The trim blower is specially designed to handle the cookies. The blower has a non-plugging wheel and a spring loaded inlet plate. The trim separator has a removable screen system specially designed to handle the impact of the saw trim cookies. The exhaust air from the trim collection system is generally directed through the dust collector for the rewinder dust collection system.  However, EnviroAir can provide a dust collector dedicated to the trim collection system upon request.
